About HostelSpace

HostelSpace is a hostel discovery and listing platform. We help students view and compare information and contact independent hostel owners or managers. HostelSpace does not own, operate or manage the hostels shown on the platform.

Accounts and access

• Provide accurate information and keep your password and verification codes confidential.
• Use the correct student, hostel-owner or administrator login portal for your account type.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
• We may restrict or suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse, security threats or repeated policy violations.

Listings and owner responsibilities

• Owners must be authorized to list the hostel and provide genuine, current and complete information.
• Prices, availability, public contact details, location, rules and photos must not be false or misleading.
• HostelSpace may approve, reject, request changes, unpublish or suspend a listing.
• Owners must keep prices and available beds reasonably current and respond to verified change-review requirements.
• Approval means the listing passed the platform’s review process; it is not a guarantee of every claim, service or future condition.

Student responsibilities

• Confirm rent, deposit, mess charges, availability, rules and documents directly with the hostel before making a decision.
• Visit or independently verify a hostel before paying whenever reasonably possible.
• Do not rely on HostelSpace as a substitute for personal inspection, safety judgment or a written agreement with the hostel.
• Use reporting tools honestly and provide enough detail for moderation.

No booking or payment service

The current HostelSpace MVP does not process hostel bookings, rent, deposits or other payments. Calls, WhatsApp messages, visits, agreements and payments occur directly between users and independent hostel operators. HostelSpace is not a party to those transactions.

Acceptable content

• Do not upload personal documents, unlawful material, copied watermarked images, malicious code, harassment or content that violates another person’s rights.
• Reviews and reports must describe genuine experiences or concerns and must not be used for threats, retaliation, spam or manipulation.
• We may moderate, reject or remove content and preserve relevant records for platform safety.

Availability and liability

We work to keep HostelSpace available and information useful, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every third-party statement will always be accurate. To the extent permitted by applicable law, users remain responsible for accommodation choices, inspections, contracts and direct payments.

Termination and changes

You may stop using HostelSpace at any time. We may change features or these terms as the platform develops. Material changes will be posted with a revised date. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply from their effective date.

Governing context and contact

These terms are intended for use of HostelSpace in Pakistan and are subject to applicable Pakistani law. Questions or disputes should first be sent to support@hostelspace.pk so the team can try to resolve them promptly.
